The Cursed Love

Image
your love suddenly became a curse I wrap in my poetry for the fame you chase was still running behind you you pained my conscience for a coin worth nothing then I beg for your kindness stupidly kneeling for your madness all in vain. when I stood and left, you were shinning lik e a crystal in the sun then I wrote my poem in the ashes of my heart. I poured our my fears In tears. You still pester me Your absence never makes me rest I warned you over and over  To let my peace reign. You're now famous and rich But my love was your source And now that the day is dawn And your love flicked in grace  I've helped myself get it erased.

My Africa

Image
What path do we tread? What lesson do we learned? What pleasure do we gain? From the death of our brothers, People we walk in the dark together. If not for ignorance, And insensitive belligerence, Why should I spill a blood? Of my siblings because of envy. We used to be friends Through the hard times. Let's write a history With love and peace, The heroism of the past Displayed to build today. Let's walk on the path Laid by our fathers For a black is sane To rule and lead his folk Shall we fight our contempt, Prac tice love in hope, Whether in South or west, Shall we understand we're one. Let's tread gently To the mountain built With sweat and pain Of men with brains. Africa is one Irrespective of  tongues, Our color might differs but collectively we're blacks. Let's uphold our pride In the unity built with trust Our fathers suffered a great deal For us to survive today. Let's open our arm To embrace...

Love at first Sight

At first sight, By the power of your smile I was lost in the air Flying without wings At second sight By the beauty of your tone I Unconsciously melted away Like an ice in the sun At the parade ground, Your elegance speaks uniquely You are calm but your beauty is unquiet It catches enough attention to make bow By the sweetness of your name Couple with your Fascinating spectacle I lost my heart while appreciating you How lovely you look to me How fascinating is it to  exist in fantasy How hopeful is it to taste your lips In the morning, When the sun rises in mild The ember of your thoughts shines with kind Painting my heart with joyful wand At night, In the nocturnal breeze of hope I spread my heart towards your love Surrendering my love into your care.
