Making Transitions
It was 5 a.m with a hungry stomach.
I barely have nothing to eat and would have to get set for work.
However, I was starving simply because I cannot cook. I have some raw foodstuff but wouldn't touch them.
I took my bath and dashed to the road. On my way, I tapped into my phone and set on the radio.
Guess what!
I tuned into a boring program. It's crazy to listen to love jeopardy on an empty stomach.
I further tuned and discover the secret that changed my life.
I stumbled upon a financial talk. It was quite interesting but I wouldn't apply all the tips shared in my finance.
I was earning a better figure that is not too good but good enough to pay some of my bills. I spent over 40% on transportation and food. It's quite honourable in a country that financial freedom is a dream.
I continued my routine and added some more activities like learning to code, writing compelling contents and upgrading my online fashion store.
Before I could begin this whole transition, I had to make a very important decision; I had to quit my job. Some of my colleagues were telling me about the rate of unemployment and I retorted with the rate of underemployment. My main vision isn't just working or making more money, however, I want to make an incredible impact and creating values. Values creation is the truest form of wealth.
There are lots of bread sellers around but why did you prefer a particular brand? It is simple. The taste and bond. Even if all bread tastes the same, you will still argue in favour of your brand.
Here are there basic tips you need to become financially free:
1. Be intentional
Decisions are always hard to take and that's why people spend a huge amount of money on management courses. However hard it is, you must make the decision. And, be true about it.
2. Be clear about your values
Everything is almost common and available sufficiently in the world of technology. You must create a niche or probably improve on existing ideas. Remember that the greatest things in life hinge on simplicity. For example as a writer, you must have practised to the point of discovery that makes you know your strengths and weaknesses. That is how you can be sure of what practically you can deliver.
3. Take a bold step
All you need is take the first step and courageously walk up the ladder. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy and that's why you have to take a step out of your comfort arena and walk down the road. Whatever it is you are aspiring to achieve, you must take a step that would make people remark, 'he's crazy'. Be sure it's a good crazy and learn risk management. Don't be the bad crazy and walk into a doom.
4. Be patience
I don't know how long it took Einstein to become an authority in science but I'm certain it's not a day work. The maxim, 'Rome was not built in a day' means that you must practice the art of patience and perseverance. That's where the true transition is. For everything and most importantly financial transition, patience is a great attribute that should come into play because it's gonna a while.
